AUDITIONS

  • September 29 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. AND September 30 from 6:00-8:30p.m. in Rebecca Hall in Main Street United Methodist Church.

  • Free parking in the church lot on 2nd Street. Please enter church via Main Street entrance. Look for signs.

  • There are parts for adults, teens, and kids. Bring the family and celebrate the holiday by doing a show together! No experience necessary. MAP prides itself in providing excellent theatre education opportunities to all!

  • Auditions will be asked to read short scenes from the script. These will be included at the end of this packet, along with character descriptions. Our director absolutely encourages everyone, especially our young readers, to become familiar with scenes highlighting characters their age. We know that not everyone reads at the same level and we want everyone to have their best audition ever!

REHEARSALS

  • Primary rehearsals will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 p.m.-8:15 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. We understand school hours and sleep and strive to release children on time. The last week, known as “Tech Week,” will have longer rehearsals, but we will NEVER keep children past 8:30 p.m., except in case of emergency

  • Rehearsals will begin on Saturday, September 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • Our Tuesday/Saturday rehearsal schedule will begin on that first day. A full rehearsal schedule will be handed out at the first rehearsal.

  • We will rehearse every evening from Sunday evening, December 1 through Closing performance on Sunday, December 8. All cast will be required to be at all rehearsals during the last two weeks. We will NOT rehearse November 27-30, which is Thanksgiving.
